Job summary

A+ Power Sports is seeking a Powersports Setup & Accessory Technician in Elkhorn, WI. You will prep ATVs, UTVs and Snowmobiles and install a range of accessories, from audio to snow plows, wiring key components, ensuring every vehicle is customer-ready.

The role is year-round, requiring hands-on, team-focused work in a small dealership environment. Prior powersports or automotive shop experience is preferred, with the ability to lift 50+ lbs and manage tools.

Qualifications

• Dealership or professional shop experience in powersports or automotive.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and wiring equipment.
• Able to read and follow technical diagrams and installation guides.
• Must supply own tools (tool box and standard/metric sockets and wrenches).
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and standing for long periods.
• Valid driver's license; ATV/UTV license helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble new off-road vehicles and snowmobiles from crate to completion.
• Install accessories including Audio, Light Bars, Snow plows, Electrical add-ons.
• Perform test rides to verify mechanical readiness.
• Conduct final vehicle inspections before customer delivery.
• Maintain a safe, organized workspace and keep accurate service records.
• Collaborate with a small service team to meet build schedules.

Position Overview

Join our fast-paced, family-owned dealership as a Powersports Setup & Accessory Technician, where your role will focus exclusively on prepping and accessorizing ATVs, UTVs and Snowmobiles. From installing light bars and snow plows to wiring key accessories, you’ll help ensure every machine is delivered customer-ready.

This is a year-round position ideal for someone with previous dealership or shop experience who thrives in a hands-on, team-focused environment.

What You’ll Do

Work Schedule

• Tues / Thurs / Fri: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wed: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Sat: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Sun / Mon: Closed. Note: Schedule may flex slightly during busy seasons.
