Job summary

A+ Power Sports in Elkhorn, WI is seeking a hands-on Powersports Setup & Accessory Technician to prep ATVs, UTVs and snowmobiles with accessories and wiring. You will install items, conduct test rides, and ensure every machine is customer-ready in a fast-paced, family-owned shop.

Ideal candidates have dealership or shop experience, can read installation guides, and bring their own tools. Team-oriented and safety-conscious, you’ll support a tight-knit service team throughout the season.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dealership or professional shop (powersports or automotive).
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and wiring equipment.
• Able to read and follow technical diagrams and installation guides.
• Must supply own tools, including tool box, standard/ metric sockets and wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, impacts, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assemble new off-road vehicles & snowmobiles from crate to completion.
• Install accessories including Audio, Light Bars, Snow plows, Electrical add-ons.
• Perform test rides only to verify mechanical readiness.
• Conduct final vehicle inspections before customer delivery.
• Maintain a safe, organized work space and keep accurate service records.
• Collaborate with a small service team to meet build schedules.

Position Overview

Join our fast-paced, family-owned dealership as a Powersports Setup & Accessory Technician, where your role will focus exclusively on prepping and accessorizing ATVs, UTVs and Snowmobiles. From installing light bars and snow plows to wiring key accessories, you’ll help ensure every machine is delivered customer-ready.

This is a year-round position ideal for someone with previous dealership or shop experience who thrives in a hands-on, team-focused environment.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble new off-road vehicles & snowmobiles from crate to completion.
• Install accessories including:
  • Audio
  • Light Bars
  • Snow plows
  • Electrical ad-ons
• Perform test rides only to verify mechanical readiness.
• Conduct final vehicle inspections before customer delivery.

Required Qualifications

Work Schedule

• Tues / Thurs / Fri: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wed: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Sat: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Sun / Mon: Closed. Note: Schedule may flex slightly during busy seasons.
