Job summary

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is seeking a SET Student Ambassador for the Marshfield Campus. The role supports the Office of Student Experience and Transformation by promoting services, events, and student engagement on campus.

This position is part-time (academic year) up to 10 hours per week, pays $12 per hour, and involves coordinating with Marshfield Campus staff, attending events, and acting as a student voice to strengthen belonging and academic support.

Qualifications

• Be in good academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher).
• Sophomore standing preferred.
• Strong public speaking, peer engagement, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Familiar with UWSP Campus resources and activities.
• Reliable and comfortable representing the department on campus.
• Ability to address sensitive student concerns professionally and confidentially.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain professionalism.
• Ability to foster an open, friendly environment that supports diverse student needs.

Responsibilities

• Represent SET at campus-wide initiatives to build visibility and engagement.
• Support Operations, Co-Design Programming, and serve as a lead collaborator for Marshfield Campus.
• Serve as an outreach liaison to student organizations and UWSP initiatives.
• Support SET communication and collect student feedback.
• Other duties as assigned.
