Job summary

24 Seven Talent is seeking an experienced Set Builder to support a busy warehouse and photo studio environment. In this hands-on role, you’ll partner with the Set Designer and photo team to build high-quality sets for environmental and e-commerce photography.

Responsibilities include constructing sets from concept through final execution, building set components, painting and hardware installation, and assisting with on-location shoot installations as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of set building experience, carpentry, or related hands-on work.
• Experience operating power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to execute against design intent.
• Ability to bend, twist, push, pull, and lift up to 65 lbs.

Job description

We’re seeking an experienced Set Builder to support a busy warehouse and photo studio environment. In this hands-on role, you’ll partner with the Set Designer and photo team to build high-quality sets for environmental and e-commerce photography.

Responsibilities

• Construct photo sets from concept through final execution, following drawings and creative direction.
• Build walls, cabinetry, furniture, flooring, tile, and other set components.
• Paint, install hardware, and make on-set adjustments during photo shoots.
• Support wood shop organization, maintenance, storage, and material/tool management.
• Assist with set installations for on-location shoots as needed.
• Safely transport materials and equipment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of set building, carpentry, construction, or related hands-on experience.
• Experience operating power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to execute against design intent.
• Ability to bend, twist, push, pull, and lift/carry bulky materials and furniture up to 65 lbs.
• Flexible schedule and collaborative, team-oriented approach.
