Bookmark Reading Charity is seeking a part-time, term-time only role to support its One-to-one Reading Programme. The position is home-based and requires your own IT equipment, with sessions typically 8:00–15:30 Mon–Fri, about 10 hours weekly, potentially up to 20 with programme needs.
Start ASAP; fixed term to 10 July 2027. You must be a UK resident with right to work, and safeguarding checks will be required.

Hours: Part-time. Term-time only.
Average hours per week for employees with good availability during term time (Mon-Fri 8-3.30) is 10 hours per week. If you want to, and your availability is good, we may be able to provide you up to 20 hours per week, subject to programme availability.
Any sessions cancelled by the school are to be used for preparation and attraction work. Hours are only available during school term time, and you are expected to not take holiday during term time. Holiday pay is paid to you each month, based on the hours you have worked.
Rate of Pay: UK Living wage - £13.45 per hour outside London, £14.80 per hour in London - subject to changes proposed by the Living Wage Foundation. You will be paid for the hours you work (including any cancelled by the school) plus holiday pay of 14.54%.
Location: This role is home-based and requires your own IT equipment- namely, a PC, laptop, or tablet. Headphones/earphones are also preferred.
