Like our products, we work better together. We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities and each other.

Life at Axon is fast-paced, challenging and meaningful. Here, you\'ll take ownership and drive real change. Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.

Your Impact

You will be the architect of vendor operations for Axon fastest-growing field programs. In this role, you\'ll take a scaling program from operational improvisation to structured execution - building the vendor governance foundation that supports full lifecycle management.

What You\'ll Do

Location: 4 Days a week, Onsite at our Scottsdale, Arizona HQ

Reports to: Sr Purchasing Manager

Direct Reports: none

  • Own the vendor contract lifecycle for installation, maintenance, and technical services suppliers across multiple field technology programs - manage SOW and MSA negotiations, coordinate red-line reviews with legal, execute commercial terms, and drive contracts through signature and execution
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships across a diverse vendor ecosystem - serve as the primary point of contact for performance escalations, capacity planning, and ongoing commercial discussions with key installation, maintenance, and technical service partners
  • Establish vendor governance infrastructure - create supplier scorecards, define QBR cadence, track performance metrics (quality, SLA adherence, revisit rates), and implement structured performance reviews to ensure accountability and continuous improvement
  • Lead sourcing for field technology services - identify, qualify, and onboard new vendors for installation, maintenance, and support services across camera deployment, interview room, and fleet programs; negotiate pricing and service terms; manage flexible onboarding models as program requirements evolve
  • Develop pricing and spend visibility tools - build and maintain interactive pricing maps, tracking dashboards, and cost analysis tools in partnership with finance to provide transparency to program leadership and stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally - partner with PSO field operations, legal, finance, engineering, and program leadership to translate operational needs into sourcing strategy, manage supplier risk, and ensure vendor performance aligns with program SLAs
  • Drive cost reduction and risk mitigation - analyze vendor pricing structures, negotiate ongoing cost improvements, and identify supply chain risks in distributed, multi-vendor service delivery models

What You Bring

  • Bachelor\'s degree in supply chain, business, or related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, commodity management, or category management
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, low-direction environments where you\'ll need to build processes, frameworks, and relationships from the ground up
  • Strong vendor relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively with external partners
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Experience managing technical services programs, particularly in field technology, construction, or installation services (e.g., camera deployment, cabling, IT infrastructure, fleet maintenance)
  • Contract literacy and familiarity with commercial terms including SOWs, warranty provisions, IP clauses, payment structures, and risk allocation
  • Experience developing pricing tools, spend dashboards, or analytics solutions using Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to streamline workflows, generate insights, and automate documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple vendor programs simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and delivering results in fast-paced environments

  • Discretionary paid time off
  • Paid parental leave for all
  • Medical, Dental, Vision plans
