Base pay range

$130,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Employment Requirements

Location Fully Remote

Job Duration 1 year with possible extensions.

Employment Type: Contract/will be a W2 employee with Solu Technology Partners.

Salary Range (depending on experience)

• $62.50 per hour salary is approximately $130,000 yearly.
• $96.15 per hour salary is approximately $200,000 yearly.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Technical Engineer with deep expertise in CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and the broader ServiceNow Platform. This role requires a senior-level engineer who can design, manage, and implement enterprise-level systems and infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate is both technically strong and business-savvy, capable of working independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and analyze system specifications and requirements from stakeholders across all levels.

• Translate complex business and functional requirements into scalable, structured technical solutions.

• Work closely with integrators, developers, and testers to ensure alignment with architectural and business goals.

• Lead or support infrastructure design and systems development for complex applications.

• Apply vendor best practices and IT Service Management principles in solution design.

• Support project estimation, planning, and budgeting activities.

• Provide advanced troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical support across the system lifecycle.

• Use facilitation techniques to elicit and review requirements from diverse stakeholders.

• Master complex tasks with minimal supervision in a rapidly changing environment.

Qualifications

• Combined minimum of 10 years of higher education and/or professional experience in systems design, management, and/or architecture.

• Thorough understanding of the system development lifecycle, infrastructure lifecycle, vendor best practices, and IT Service Management.

• Senior Level CMDB and CSDM expertise.

• Senior Level Discovery and Service Mapping expertise.

• Experience with project estimation and budget planning.

• Verifiable industry/vendor certifications in relevant technologies.

• Proven knowledge of server/client and virtual technologies.

• Ability to understand how people, processes, and technology interact within complex systems.

• Adaptability and quick learning in dynamic environments.
