Job summary

CHS Inc. invites a ServiceNow Software Engineer Intern to help support a range of ITSM projects in a largely remote role with occasional onsite visits to Inver Grove Heights, MN. You will work with the Enterprise Services Management Platform team to modify AI-enabled ServiceNow solutions and learn alongside senior engineers.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in a STEM field, has JavaScript knowledge, and is familiar with Scrum/Agile practices and ITIL/DevOps concepts.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor or Graduate degree in Business Management, Information Management, Computer Science, or other STEM degree program.
• Knowledge of programming and/or scripting languages, such as JavaScript.

CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Information Technology group. We are looking for a ServiceNow Software Engineer Intern to help support a variety of projects that will range in scale and complexity. Candidate must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and possess the willingness to learn new technologies and concepts. This position will function in a team-oriented environment and adhere to project timelines.

This role is primarily remote, with the expectation of being onsite at our Inver Grove Heights, MN office a few times each month.

Responsibilities

• Join Enterprise Services Management Platform team to deliver ServiceNow Artificial Intelligence (AI) system modifications for Information Technology Systems Management (ITSM) space.
• Understand requirements and work with team to formulate solutions in ServiceNow to support business needs.
• Develop an understanding of business processes, integration technologies and team guidelines and standards.
• Help ensure common understanding within the team on business needs and goals and ensure the team’s solutions address the core business needs
• Adhere to scrum/agile processes as determined by a senior team member.
• Collaborate with business units to deliver ServiceNow solutions.
• Work with ESM team to deploy solutions into a production environment.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Graduate degree in Business Management, Information Management, Computer Science, or other STEM degree program.

Additional Qualifications

• Knowledge of programming and/or scripting languages, such as JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of ITIL, DevOps, and ITSM practices.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline development, including experience with Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and interpretive skills.
• Basic understanding of workflows and business processes.

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
