Job summary

CHS Inc. offers a paid internship in our Information Technology group as a ServiceNow Software Engineer Intern. You will join a team delivering ServiceNow AI enhancements within ITSM, collaborate with business units, and learn through mentorship.

Remote work is primary with occasional onsite in Inver Grove Heights, MN. Ideal candidates are pursuing a STEM degree and have knowledge of JavaScript, Scrum/Agile, ITIL/DevOps, and CI/CD with Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Graduate degree in Business Management, Information Management, Computer Science, or other STEM degree program.
• Knowledge of programming and/or scripting languages, such as JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of ITIL, DevOps, and ITSM practices.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline development, including experience with Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Join Enterprise Services Management Platform team to deliver ServiceNow AI system modifications for ITSM space.
• Understand requirements and formulate solutions in ServiceNow to support business needs.
• Develop understanding of business processes, integration technologies and team guidelines and standards.
• Ensure team’s solutions address core business needs and work with business units to deliver ServiceNow solutions.
• Adhere to scrum/agile processes as determined by a senior team member.
• Work with ESM team to deploy solutions into a production environment.

CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Information Technology group. We are looking for a ServiceNow Software Engineer Intern to help support a variety of projects that will range in scale and complexity. Candidate must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and possess the willingness to learn new technologies and concepts. This position will function in a team-oriented environment and adhere to project timelines.

This role is primarily remote, with the expectation of being onsite at our Inver Grove Heights, MN office a few times each month.

• Understand requirements and work with team to formulate solutions in ServiceNow to support business needs.
• Develop an understanding of business processes, integration technologies and team guidelines and standards.
• Help ensure common understanding within the team on business needs and goals and ensure the team’s solutions address the core business needs
• Adhere to scrum/agile processes as determined by a senior team member.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Graduate degree in Business Management, Information Management, Computer Science, or other STEM degree program.

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
