Job summary

StackNexus is seeking a ServiceNow QA & Reporting Analyst to design and run comprehensive test strategies for CMDB/ITOM projects. You will validate data, monitor quality, and develop dashboards using Power BI and ServiceNow reporting.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in enterprise IT testing, hands-on ServiceNow expertise, and a strong background in automation (Selenium, TestNG, Maven). Onsite in NJ with collaborative cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years delivering enterprise IT or software solutions with hands-on ServiceNow testing experience.
• Proficient in developing and executing test plans and cases from product specs.
• Experience with automated testing using Selenium, TestNG, and Maven.
• Strong data analysis, CMDB validation, and reporting skills.
• Ability to collaborate with Dev, Infra, DBA, and QA teams in Agile/DevOps environments.

Job Description

Develops and executes test strategies, validates CMDB and ITOM solutions, monitors data quality, and prepares reports and dashboards to provide insights into project and operational performance.

Required Skills

• Test planning and execution
• Functional, integration, and UAT testing
• Knowledge in ServiceNow testing tools and methodologies (both manual and automated) and processes, including developing repeatable test procedures, executing tests, recording results, and working with software engineers to identify and resolve defects
• CMDB data validation and quality checks
• Reporting and dashboard development
• Power BI, Excel, or ServiceNow reporting
• Defect tracking and root cause analysis
• Strong analytical and documentation skills

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related technical field; master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience delivering enterprise IT or software solutions, including at least 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow testing and automation frameworks and build test cases
• In-depth functional testing knowledge to ensure product functions meet client requirements
• Hands on experience in writing/executing test-plan and test cases based on product specification
• Knowledge about Bug Life cycle and identifying /documenting defect
• Should have experience in Functional/Non-Functional testing type. E.g. SMOKE/Inflight/Regression/Unit/Performance/Load/Integration Testing etc.
• Should be able to develop and execute automated test scripts using testing frameworks such as Selenium, TestNg, Maven
• Collaborate with Developers/Infra/DBA/other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve product quality
• Should be able to adapt advance testing best practices and methodologies, including Agile and DevOps principles
• Experience in report generation and data analysis.
• Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker) is a plus.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their data services is a plus
