Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking an Infrastructure Consultant 2 to join the Delivery team in the USA. The role focuses on building and maintaining ServiceNow reports and Power BI dashboards, with emphasis on data-driven insights for IT infrastructure and security.

The candidate will work across banking, wealth management, and insurance projects. You will collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to implement scalable, cost-efficient infrastructure solutions, automate reporting, and ensure reliable

• Strong ServiceNow reporting, dashboards, and analytics capabilities.
• Experience with Power BI dashboards and data sources including ServiceNow.
• Ability to design automated reporting solutions and workflows.
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell/Python) for automation.
• Experience in IT infrastructure assessment, deployment management, and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve complex incidents and document preventive recommendations.
• Evaluate client IT infrastructure and produce actionable assessment reports.
• Design scalable, cost-effective IT infrastructure solutions and document deployments.
• Coordinate release schedules and environment readiness, perform post-deployment testing.

In the assigned Job Role of Infrastructure Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve complex incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and document findings with preventive recommendations


• Participate in evaluation of client IT infrastructure, prepare actionable assessment reports, and support due diligence to document infrastructure maturity and improvement opportunities


• Contribute to the design of scalable, cost-effective IT infrastructure solutions, review reusable components, and develop technical documentation for deployed systems


• Align release schedules and environment readiness, execute deployments as per protocols, perform post-deployment testing, and manage version control to track changes


• Co-ordinate maintenance schedules, emergency fixes, and technology upgrades while ensuring uninterrupted integration into existing systems and processes


• Facilitate performance data analysis across systems, coordinate insights on system behavior, and support capacity planning to optimize performance


• Conduct security checks, recovery drills, and compliance audits, implement security measures, and coordinate continuity plans to maintain adherence to standards


• Gather feedback to identify automation opportunities, analyze existing infrastructure processes, and propose enhancements for efficiency gains


• Act as liaison with onsite, offshore, and vendor teams to document project requirements, ensuring effective collaboration


• Develop a centralized repository of technical and procedural knowledge, leveraging insights from other projects to drive efficiency and retain organizational expertise

Required Skill and Experience

• Strong ServiceNow Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain ServiceNow reports, dashboards, Performance Analytics, and data extracts.


• Power BI Development: Design and build Power BI dashboards and executive-level reports using ServiceNow and enterprise data sources.


• Data Analytics & KPI Reporting: Create data models, KPIs, measures, scorecards, and visualizations. Provide insights into operational performance, compliance, service health, and engineering effectiveness.


• Automation Development: Identify opportunities for automation using APIs, scripting, workflows, and reporting tools.


• Automated Reporting Solutions: Automate recurring reports, data collection, validation, distribution, and notifications.


• Power Automate / PowerShell / Python: Experience developing automated reporting and workflow solutions.


• ServiceNow Experience: Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform and reporting capabilities.


• Troubleshooting Skills: Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving approach.

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Omnissa Workspace ONE administration and support.


• Microsoft Intune device management experience.


• Apple macOS Support: Medium-level troubleshooting and engineering experience.


• System Monitoring & Compliance: Monitor endpoint performance, compliance, logs, and alerts.


• Incident Management: Analyze logs and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues.


• Security & Policy Enforcement: Work with security teams to ensure endpoint protection and compliance.


• Change Management: Experience with change management processes, tools, and implementations.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
