Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. seeks a ServiceNow Platform Engineer to provide technical and consultative support on complex matters. The role analyzes, designs, and develops systems based on user specs and maintains platform stability with best practices.

You will manage ServiceNow applications, advise teams on inefficiencies, and train internal staff while applying OO programming principles. This is an onsite Office position at Huntington corporate locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in application development, ITSM and ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve issues against ServiceNow applications
• Advise internal teams and lines of business regarding process and technology inefficiencies within the platform
• Perform routine maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification/remediation
• Maintain and improve platform stability and apply best practices
• Handle Instance Security, User/Group access, roles and ACLs
• Provide training and knowledge across the platform
• Develop reporting strategy and maintenance plan for platform-wide reporting
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming

Summary:

The ServiceNow Platform Engineer provides technical and consultative support on the most complex technical matters.Provides technical and consultative support on the most complex technical matters. Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based upon user specifications. Possesses an in-depth knowledge of and works with the technical tools available for systems development and support. Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends. May assist with identifying training needs or with training of less experienced staff. May serve as project leader for specific projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and resolve issues against ServiceNow applications
• Advise internal teams and lines of business regarding process and technology inefficiencies within the platform
• Perform routine maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification/ remediation
• Maintain and improve the overall stability of the platform ensuring best practices are identified and incorporated into the platform
• Experience with ServiceNow best practices and understand the best solutions to remediate technical debt in the Now platform
• Manage Instance Security, User/Group access, roles and associated relationships, and Access Control Lists (ACLs)
• Provide training and knowledge across the platform to our internal team and external business partners
• Develop reporting strategy and maintenance plan for platform wide reporting
• Strong knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming (OOP)

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience.
• 5+ yrs of experience in application development plan, ITSM and Service Now

Preferred Qualifications:

• Configuration and modification of the ServiceNow platform in the following areas IT Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), Intelligent Apps, HR Service Delivery, Security Operations, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) or Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Business Management (ITBM), and IT Operations Management (ITOM)
• Familiarity with the User Experience Tools, Service Intelligence, and Service Experiences
• Knowledge and Experience working with Web Services, REST, JSONv2

Exempt Status: Yes (not eligible for overtime pay). No (eligible for overtime pay).
