Job summary

ThinkTek LLC is seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Business Analyst to bridge infrastructure, operations, engineering and ServiceNow developers, translating complex ITOM requirements into clear user stories and roadmaps.

The role emphasizes Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management and CMDB/CSDM, agile delivery, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a federal government–leaning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3–5 years of ServiceNow platform experience acting as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Consultant.
• Minimum of 2 years of dedicated ServiceNow ITOM experience, with exposure to at least three of: Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB Health & CSDM implementation.
• Agile/Scrum experience with writing user stories, breaking down epics, and backlog grooming.
• Experience with cross-functional technical teams to uncover discovery credentials, firewall rules, and architecture topology.

Responsibilities

• Translate business goals and requirements into epics and user stories with acceptance criteria in Agile/Scrum.
• Manage ITOM product backlog, participate in sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Analyze requirements against ServiceNow OOTB capabilities to minimize custom development.
• Develop functional specs, process flows, data mappings, and RTMs.
• Collaborate with QA and developers on test scenarios and ATF scripts.
• Support UAT, validation scenarios, and issue resolution.
• Drive CMDB governance, data health, and KPI reporting.
