Job summary

AT&T is seeking a ServiceNow Engineer (SE1) to support the Public Sector Solutions team at a government site in Laurel, MD. The role requires office presence, TS/SCI with polygraph, and a strong track record in ServiceNow administration/development.

You will design architecture, develop workflows, and mentor teammates in a hybrid cloud environment using AWS, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Intelink Services provide interagency information sharing, content discovery, and collaboration capabilities on the IC system domains to the IC and its partners in Defense, Homeland Security, Foreign Affairs, and Law Enforcement.

Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on technical experience; AWS experience is a plus. Job Responsibilities:

• This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. Work to be performed at a government customer site in Laurel, MD.

Required Skills:

• Familiarity with web‑based user interfaces (HTML, XML, CSS).
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Skills:

• Linux/UNIX system troubleshooting experience.
• Experience managing a self‑hosted ServiceNow instance, including performing required upgrades to core ServiceNow applications.
• Java development experience.
• Experience reviewing processes and implementing efficiencies.
• ServiceNow certifications are a plus (e.g., Administrator, Developer).

Required Clearance:

Required Qualifications:

Seven (7) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
