Business Operations Department

As part of the Vantage Mission Critical Operations team, the Business Operations Department ensures operational excellence across customer lifecycle management, lease administration, energy billing, and service delivery. We collaborate cross‑functionally to support construction, commissioning, and daily operations of our data centers.

Position Overview

This position will be based on‑site at our office in Denver, CO, in alignment with our flexible work policy. (3 days on site required, 2 days flexible).

We are seeking a ServiceNow Platform Developer to collaborate with global initiative teams on the strategic design, governance, and continuous evolution of our ServiceNow platform under the Mission Critical Operations organization. This senior‑level role will serve as a developer for NA Operations ServiceNow enhancements and maintenance, driving scalable architecture, platform integration, and automation to support operational effectiveness across our global footprint.

Essential Job Functions
  • Contribute to and act as a key stakeholder for the ServiceNow platform development for NA Operations, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, business goals, and operational priorities.
  • Onboard and maintain Configuration Items (CIs) in the CMDB, ensuring data integrity and alignment with asset hierarchies and alarm management structures.
  • Enforce and administer platform standards, including development best practices, data integrity rules, and integration patterns.
  • Configure and optimize maintenance schedules in collaboration with key stakeholders using Work Order Management modules to support field operations and customer reporting.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and developers to translate complex requirements into robust ServiceNow solutions.
  • Drive automation and workflow optimization for preventative maintenance, change management, incident response, and asset onboarding.
  • Contribute towards improved business process maturity by identifying and prioritizing improvement projects and implementing changes to processes and operations to improve data capture.
  • Collaborate on platform compliance with cyber security, architecture compliance, internal controls, audit requirements, and industry standards.
  • Stay current on ServiceNow releases, industry trends, and emerging technologies, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation.
  • Additional duties as assigned by Management.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow platform architecture, development, and administration.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise‑scale ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules (Request, Case, Change, FSM).
  • Deep understanding of CMDB architecture, ITIL processes, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Data Import Sets.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross‑functional teams and collaborate on complex platform initiatives.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving.
  • Passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Travel required is expected to be up to 5% but may increase over time as the business evolves.
Certifications
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Required
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) – Required
  • Field Service Management Implementer (CIS) – Preferred
  • Experience with the critical facilities or operations industry.
  • ITIL v4 Foundation or higher – Preferred

Additional Details
  • Salary Range: $130,000‑150,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)
  • This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long‑term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401(k) program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.
  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
