PTR Global is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join our team in St. Louis on a contract basis. The role focuses on delivering high-quality ServiceNow solutions while collaborating with customers to meet requirements.

You will develop complex code, perform integrations, and ensure security considerations are embedded in daily tasks. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in ServiceNow development and strong JavaScript skills, with experience in API scripting (REST/SOAP) and shell scripting.

• 2+ years of JavaScript experience.
• Experience with API scripting using Web Services (REST, SOAP).
• Experience with Shell Scripting (SSH, PowerShell).
• Commitment to incorporating security into all decisions and daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Modify medium to complex code and develop medium to highly complex application code independently.
• Schedule and present code specifications and programming logic at code reviews, contributing to others' reviews as well.
• Perform local development builds, application integration builds, and code merges.
• Test and fix defects, develop unit tests, and create test scripts.
• Migrate applications to quality assurance and/or production environments.
• Analyze and review software requirements to determine feasibility within time and cost constraints.
• Participate in project planning and coordinate activities across project phases.
• Escalate complex issues and recommend potential solutions while following established escalation procedures.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to architects, leadership, and business stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less senior team members, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Create and maintain documentation on application modifications and updates.
• Monitor application logs and status, taking appropriate actions as needed.
• Implement complex modules, enhancements, or change requests based on provided designs.

Job Overview:
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will leverage your technical expertise to solve complex business problems and deliver high-quality solutions. You will act as a subject matter expert in your area of focus, representing your department on challenging assignments. Your role will involve evaluating technology effectiveness, gathering requirements, conducting testing, and making recommendations to enhance quality and efficiency. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that align with their expectations.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship requirements.
• Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or the immediate surrounding area.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
• 2+ years of JavaScript experience.
• Experience with API scripting using Web Services (REST, SOAP).
• Experience with Shell Scripting (SSH, PowerShell).
• Commitment to incorporating security into all decisions and daily responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle management.
• Experience with usability methods is a plus.

Pay Range: $55- $60/Hr

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
