Job summary

GRVTY seeks a ServiceNow Developer with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance to join a top project in Herndon, VA. You will support the Sponsor's ServiceNow delivery team, building and improving the GIBS suite on enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities include translating business needs into technical requirements, designing catalog items, and advancing process improvements across IT and services. Collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance (applicable to this customer).
• Solid JavaScript experience, plus hands-on ServiceNow expertise.
• Experience using web technologies: JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience developing ServiceNow or other software development platforms.
• Experience with Flow Designer, catalog items, and business rules.
• Ability to analyze business processes and translate into technical requirements.
• Experience evaluating system performance and driving improvements.
• Experience with process improvement, program management, and customer relations.
• Experience with IT lifecycle management including change and release management.
• Knowledge management with creating feature releases and technical artifacts.

We've been supporting this customer on many different sub-projects of this program since our founding in 2013. We've grown on this effort by providing the customer with Engineers who have done exceptional work, and we've retained our staff by paying very strong salaries, and working hard to ensure each Engineer is doing work that aligns with their career interest. Work on this program takes place in Herndon, VA and in various field offices throughout Northern VA (we cannot support remote work), and requires a TS/SCI + Polygraph clearance (acceptable to this customer).

What You'll be Owning

GRVTY is seeking a ServiceNow Developer with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Herndon, VA. As part of the Sponsor's integrated ServiceNow delivery team, the Developer shall provide development and process improvement support of Sponsor's Global Infrastructure Business System (GIBS) custom application suite and other Sponsor requirements on the enterprise and non-enterprise ServiceNow platforms.

What You Must Have

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance (applicable to this customer)
• Solid JavaScript experience is a must, in addition to hands-on ServiceNow experience
• Demonstrated experience using web development technologies, specifically JavaScript , HTML, and CSS
• Demonstrated experience developing ServiceNow, or advanced experience with software development or experience with low-code development platforms and the aptitude to develop ServiceNow experience
• Demonstrated experience with Flow Designer, creating catalog items, and an understanding of business rules
• Demonstrated experience in business process analysis including evaluating customer need, internal processes, document business process models, and translating these models as functional technical requirements
• Demonstrated experience in systems evaluation such as identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system
• Demonstrated experience with process improvement such as analyzing functions, requirements, or existing capabilities and shortfalls
• Demonstrated experience with program management and project task management, and customer relations and outreach
• Demonstrated experience with IT and systems lifecycle management, including managing review boards, and change & release management
• Demonstrated experience with knowledge management, including developing feature release descriptions, and technical artifacts related to the development under this request

What Would be Nice to Have

• 4+ years of ServiceNow development experience is preferred
• ServiceNow certifications are highly desired
