About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support the implementation of IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and developing ServiceNow applications to meet business requirements. This role requires hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules, scripting, integrations, and UI customizations. The developer will work closely with the ServiceNow Architect and stakeholders to deliver a scalable and efficient solution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist in functional and technical workshops to gather business requirements.
2. Develop user stories and technical documentation.
3. Collaborate with architect to define technical design, security roles, and governance frameworks.
4. Configure the knowledge base, approval workflows, and knowledge categories.
5. Develop incident workflows, SLA configurations, major incident management, and VIP user handling.
6. Create request fulfillment workflows, notifications, and SLA logic.
7. Customize role-based landing pages, Agent Assist, and contextual sidebar features in Agent Workspace.
8. Support CMDB configuration, foundational data setup, and list/form updates.
9. Develop custom reports and dashboards with Performance Analytics.
10. Implement Tanium integration and telephony system enhancements.
11. Assist in data mapping, migration, and validation efforts.
12. Develop UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Flow Designer workflows, and Script Includes.
13. Utilize Glide API and JavaScript for automation and process optimization.
14. Support advanced Work Assignment configurations for ticket routing.
15. Support UAT testing, remediation, and retesting.
16. Support the creation of technical documentation and user training materials.
17. Assist with Go-Live activities, including configuration reviews and deployment.
18. Provide post-Go-Live support and implement patches or minor enhancements.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, specializing in ITSM implementations.

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:

• Strong experience in ServiceNow development, including UI customization, scripting, and workflow automation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, UI Policies, Business Rules, and Client Scripts.
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP API integrations.
• Experience with Service Catalog, Request Management, Incident Management, CMDB, and Asset Management.
• Familiarity with security roles, ACLs, and user/group configurations.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.

Additional Requirements:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-ITSM).
• Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Exposure to ITOM, ITAM, or SecOps is a plus.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Successful completion of a Fingerprint background investigation.
