Job summary

ICF International is seeking a ServiceNow Architect for our San Diego location to design and deliver comprehensive ServiceNow solutions, directing technical strategies and integrations across projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure security and compliance, and drive successful client engagements.

The role requires 8+ years in ServiceNow, active Secret Clearance, and deep knowledge of best practices, data integrity, and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience implementing or architecting ServiceNow solutions.
• Active Secret Clearance and US work authorization required.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance (NIST, RMF, eMASS) and platform security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of ServiceNow solutions across client engagements.
• Provide technical oversight during implementation, ensuring alignment with standards and integrations.
• Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, design specs, and implementation guidelines.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering growth within the ServiceNow Practice.

The Work

Our Digital Modernization Division is an information technology and management consulting department that offers integrated, strategic solutions to its public and private-sector clients. ICF has the expertise, agility, and commitment to design, build, and operate high-performance IT engines to support all aspects of our client's business.

As a ServiceNow Architect, you will be a crucial member of our ServiceNow practice, responsible for providing expertise in all facets of the ServiceNow platform and integrated technologies. Your primary role will be to design and architect comprehensive solutions that meet our clients' business requirements while aligning with industry best practices. Working collaboratively with various teams, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of ServiceNow projects.

Responsibilities/Day to Day

• Solution Design and Architecture: Provide expert guidance on ServiceNow capabilities, customization options, and best practices. Lead the design of ServiceNow solutions that meet clients' requirements and leverage the ServiceNow platform and integrations effectively. Identify and solve potential challenges.
• Implementation Support: Support the delivery of ServiceNow solutions. Provide technical oversight and ensure the design is accurately implemented. Ensure deliveries follow ICF and ServiceNow standards and processes. Oversee the integration of ServiceNow with other systems and applications to create seamless workflows and automate business processes. Ensure data consistency and integrity across platforms.
• Performance Optimization: Conduct performance analysis and optimizations to improve the efficiency and responsiveness of ServiceNow and integrated solutions. Address performance bottlenecks.
• Quality Assurance: Design quality assurance plans and ensure the technical deliverables meet quality standards and best practices.
• Project Management: Work with project managers to keep projects within scope and timeline. Communicate project status with practice leadership and clients. Support deployment registrations to maintain ServiceNow partner status.
• Security and Compliance: Design the security plan and ensure all solutions follow security best practices and compliance requirements. Work with security teams to implement security measures and maintain a secure environment.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and implementation guidelines. Contribute to the knowledge base and share best practices within the team and the Practice. Lead knowledge sharing sessions across the practice.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest developments in ServiceNow and integrated technologies, tools, and industry trends. Enhance your expertise to provide innovative solutions and approaches.
• Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication, understanding their needs, and delivering high-quality solutions.
• Mentorship and coaching: Foster growth of our ServiceNow talent pool by targeting career pathways, mentoring and coaching individuals, and tailoring growth plans.
• Strategic Relationships: Foster enduring relationships between ICF, ServiceNow, and our clients. Facilitate collaboration and issue resolution.
• Corporate Growth: Contribute to the growth of the business. Lead the development of client roadmaps to identify and foster new opportunities for ICF services and ServiceNow licenses sales. Present proposed solutions to potential clients, explaining the technical details in a clear and understandable manner. Collaborate with the proposal teams and create compelling proposals and oral presentations that outline the technical aspects of the solution.

What you must bring

• 8+ years of experience implementing or architecting ServiceNow solutions
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
• Must hold an active Secret Clearance
• Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S.
