Job summary

CEMEX is seeking a plant operations role in New York to support maintenance, housekeeping, and safety standards. The position requires adaptability to various tasks and locations within the plant, with an emphasis on safe procedures and quality control.

Qualifications

• College, Military service, trade diploma or journeyman certificate preferred
• MSHA Certification required (or must obtain within reasonable period)
• Ability to read, write and communicate clearly
• Be able to work all hours and shifts including overtime, weekends and holidays

• Any other assignments required by Plant Management.

Physical Requirements

• Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
• Heavy Work-Exerting up to 50 pounds or force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment
• Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls
