State of Maryland - Department of Service and Civic Innovation - B is seeking a Maryland Corps/Service Year Option Member Recruiter. The role centers on building awareness statewide through school-by-school outreach, while engaging prospective members, families, and trusted adult champions who influence decisions.

Much work occurs at in-person events, fairs, and information sessions. The incumbent will visit high schools and partner organizations, coordinate outreach, and support applicants

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Four years of administrative staff or professional work.
• Substitution options: college credits, Bachelor's degree, or Master's degree may satisfy experience.
• Military service experience may substitute for the required experience.

Mansioni

• Recruit Maryland Corps/Service Year Option members with a focus on diverse youth aged 18–24.
• Engage schools, job centers, and youth organizations to recruit statewide.
• Coordinate statewide program outreach, communications, and resources.
• Attend in-person events, information sessions, and application sessions.
• Meet daily/weekly/monthly recruitment targets and assist applicants through the process.
