Job summary

Inland Truck Centres in Kentucky is seeking a skilled technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair commercial trucks. The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and familiarity with service processes.

A valid CDL is preferred; forklift operation and customer-service skills are essential as you coordinate with the service manager and manage basic inventory. Post-offer screenings are required as a condition of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related work experience considered.
• Valid CDL and clean driving record preferred; CDL required or preferred depending on role.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks regularly.
• Strong knowledge of truck inspection, testing, and basic repair principles.
• Familiarity with repair time estimation and service processes.
• Experience operating a forklift and other shop equipment safely.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork with service management.
