Job summary

Great Dane LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Service Driver responsible for pickup and delivery of customer equipment and performing non-driving shop tasks to support heavy-duty trailer maintenance.

You will read job orders, document repairs to company standards, and assist other mechanics on a variety of tasks. A CDL Class A license and DOT medical cert are required, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• A valid CDL Class A license & DOT medical certification.
• Ability to safely operate and drive commercial class 5-8 trucks.
• Ability to use tools to work on mechanical repairs and perform preventative maintenance.
• Ability to install parts requiring the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• A favorable background screening, DMV driving record, physical and drug screening, and proof of work authorization in the United States is required for employment.

Overview

The Service Driver performs multiple tasks related to pick up and delivery of customer equipment, preventative maintenance, and repair of heavy-duty trucks. You will work in a shop environment during non-drive times to assist on work orders performing mechanical job functions.
