Confidential Employer in Kansas City, KS is seeking a detail-oriented office/dispatcher to support fleet operations. Responsibilities include greeting drivers, drafting work orders, and communicating with technicians, operations, and vendors to coordinate repairs.
The role requires handling write-ups, maintaining tracking systems and workload spreadsheets, and prioritizing urgent repairs. Candidates should have at least 12 months of parts or service writing experience, basic computer skills, and
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Industry related experience in fleet, heavy truck, automotive, and/or farming equipment background is preferred.
This job entails light physical work – Lifting and carrying 35 pounds of weight occasionally to move objects. Frequent climbing, reaching, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking and hearing are required. Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions will occur, and employee will be in close proximity to moving mechanical parts and oils/solvents. The noise level of this job is rated as moderate.
