Job summary

Home Genius Exteriors is seeking an experienced Service/Warranty Technician to join our Pittsburgh-area team. You’ll handle residential repairs and warranty work on exterior products, with detailed field inspections and photo-documentation of findings.

Service / Warranty Technician

At Home Genius Exteriors, we're on pace to reach $500M in Annual Revenue in just 7 years on the market and we’re seeking an experienced, well-rounded Service/Warranty Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for professionals who are proactive, resourceful, and capable of handling a wide variety of residential repair and service needs independently.

The ideal candidate has previous business ownership, management, or supervisory experience and takes pride in solving problems quickly and professionally.

What You’ll Do

• Complete residential service and warranty repairs across a variety of exterior home improvement products
• Perform detailed field inspections and document findings with professional written briefs and photos
• Troubleshoot issues and develop practical solutions in the field
• Communicate directly with homeowners to resolve concerns professionally and efficiently
• Coordinate and oversee repairs while maintaining high quality standards
• Manage service timelines with urgency and proactive follow-through
• Maintain strong organization and communication with internal teams

What We’re Looking For

• Previous business ownership, management, or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Strong general repair and troubleshooting abilities across multiple trades
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Experience handling customer conflict resolution professionally
• Strong written communication skills for inspection summaries and reporting
• Must provide own tools
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
• Strong sense of accountability, urgency, and professionalism

Compensation

• $70,000 Base + Bonuses
