Job summary

Hyper Solutions is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist, Service & Warranty in Richmond, VA. You will source, purchase, expedite and coordinate materials to support service, warranty, and field operations, aiming to minimize downtime and accelerate repair turnaround.

The role requires urgency, strong supplier-management, and the ability to resolve supply challenges in a fast-paced environment. You will work with suppliers and internal teams to ensure critical parts are available when and where

Qualifications

• Three or more years purchasing/procurement/supply chain/expediting experience.
• Experience managing urgent material requirements and supplier expedites.
• Experience working directly with suppliers, distributors, freight providers, and internal teams.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP and inventory-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Procure replacement components, repair materials, tools, and other supplies supporting field service, warranty claims, internal repair operations, and customer service requirements.
• Convert approved service requirements and purchase requisitions into accurate purchase orders.
• Prioritize purchasing activities based on customer impact, equipment downtime, technician schedules, service urgency, and repair turnaround requirements.
• Review specifications, manufacturer part numbers, drawings, bills of materials, and purchasing history to identify the correct service components.
