Job summary

Don Ringler Automotive is seeking a Service Valet/Porter to support our busy service department. You will interact daily with customers, technicians, and service staff, helping ensure smooth operations and timely vehicle movement.

The role offers training and opportunity to advance into other service, parts, or sales positions as openings arise. A positive attitude and team spirit are essential to fit our dynamic team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Must have valid Driver's License and be insurable.
• Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Pick up from and deliver customers to desired locations.
• Pick up and deliver vehicles to vendors and customers as directed.
• Move vehicles within and around the service center to support production.
• Maintain clean and orderly production and service areas.
• Follow regulations and dispose of hazardous wastes properly.
• Save and tag warranty parts for storage.

The Service Valet/Porter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the operation of a service department. This position interacts daily with Customers, Technicians, Service Associates, Parts Associates, Cashiers, Sales Associates and Managers, just to name a few. This position is also a great position to grow from! For the right candidate we will provide training and opportunities to grow and advance into other positions as they become available in our Parts, Service, Collision and Sales departments.

Job Responsibilities

• Pick up from and deliver customers to desired locations


• Pick up and deliver vehicles to sublet vendors and customers as directed


• Move vehicles from intake area to storage area


• Move vehicles inside and outside of service center to help achieve production standards


• Maintain a neat and orderly production and service areas by sweeping, removal of trash and discarded parts as well as other actions required to maintain the appearance of the production areas


• Maintain other areas of the service center and facilities such as offices, storage areas and around the outside of the service center


• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes


• Save and tag all warranty parts for storage

Education and/or Experience

Operator Driver's License (must be insurable).
