Job summary

Southern Auto Group is seeking a Service Valet in Chesapeake, VA to move and park vehicles, greet customers, and maintain a safe, orderly service area. You will drive both automatic and manual transmissions, record vehicle details, and assist with loaner vehicles as needed.

Qualified candidates are at least 18, hold an unrestricted license with a clean driving record, and demonstrate strong English communication, time management, and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Fluent English speaking and writing skills.
• Good time management and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers entering the service area with a friendly, professional attitude and directs them appropriately.
• Records customer name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and any vehicle damage during walk-around.
• Controls service traffic flow and parking; assists with loaner vehicles as needed.
• Drives vehicles safely and reports any lot damage immediately.
• Retrieves vehicles for customers at the cashier for pickup and thanks them for their business.
• Installs disposable protective coverings and I.D. tags in serviced vehicles.
• Delivers keys and repair order copies to the Service Advisor after parking.
• Keeps the service area clean and safe, free of trash and debris.
• Drives vehicles between service lanes, stalls, and parking lot as required.
• Complies with safety policies and completes reports or logs as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
