• Move and park guest vehicles as needed to support service flow.
• Deliver and pick up guests when required.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and report issues.
• Assist in all other areas of the service department as needed.
• Maintain professional appearance and high ethical standards.

The Service Valet is responsible for moving service guest vehicles to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility, to increase guest convenience, and to maintain an orderly service parking area.

Position is 100% on-site.

Essential Duties

• Installs and removes disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and ID tags in all the vehicles brought in for service.
• Ensure cleanliness of vehicles before they are delivered to customers to include washing and vacuuming as needed.
• Drives vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the service parking lot.
• Maintains the parking lot in a neat and organized manner.
• Ensure that all the vehicles in the service parking lot are kept locked.
• Assists in moving disabled vehicles in or around the service department.
• Retrieves customer vehicles from the parking lot, as needed.
• Delivers and picks up guests, as needed.
• Helps maintain a professional appearance of the service departments and the courtesy van.
• Inspects each vehicle for lot damage that may have occurred during the vehicles stay in the service department.
• May be required to record any external vehicle damage (i.e. scratches, dents) and vehicle information on check-in sheet and submits to designed personnel.
• Must follow all company safety policies, operations and practices.
• Assists in all other areas of the service department, as needed.
• Maintains high ethical standards.
• Maintains professional appearance at all times.

Hourly Rate of $20.00.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The individual should possess:

• A high school diploma or equivalent, desired.
• At least 2 years of automotive valet services experience.
• Proficient with customer service skills.
• Ability to interact and communicate with coworkers and customers.
• Ability to maneuver vehicles safely in lot.
• Follows all key security procedures.
• Ability to take direction and perform tasks efficiently and safely.
• Excellent guest relations skills.
• Ability to train other Valet services personnel.
• Ability to oversee vehicle inventory scans.
• Proficient with core valet services responsibilities including but not limited to preparing vehicles for delivery; maintaining sales, service and inventory lots in a neat and organized manner; inspecting vehicles for damage upon check-in; minimizing vehicle congestion in sales or service drive; monitoring driveways, parking lots and entrances; securing vehicles and vehicle keys; and operating vehicles in a safe and cautious manner.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
