Job summary

Toyota of Wallingford is hiring a Valet in our Service department. This hourly, full-time role greets customers on arrival, assists with vehicle check-in, and coordinates shuttle rides.

You will park vehicles safely, keep the driveway organized, and provide courteous transportation, while maintaining a professional customer-focused attitude at all times. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, is comfortable driving various vehicles, and is committed to delivering

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate and park a variety of vehicles.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Excellent English communication.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work hourly, full-time.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move between vehicles in varying weather.
• Attention to detail and safety.
• Team-oriented and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet customers arriving for service and serve as their initial point of contact.
• Assist customers with vehicle check-in and direct them to the service advisor.
• Register and park incoming service vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Provide shuttle service and rides to service customers, ensuring timely transportation.
• Assist with transferring customers from vehicles to service advisors as needed.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe driveway and parking area.
• Operate and park a variety of customer vehicles with care and attention to detail.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members regarding wait times and next steps.
• Support the Service department with additional tasks to ensure a smooth experience.
