Job summary

Kendall Auto Group in Central Oregon is seeking a Service Valet to join our Audi, BMW, and Porsche team. This entry-level role offers training and room for growth and a pathway into the automotive industry.

You will move and park service vehicles, assist clients at check-in, direct customers to advisors, and perform light duties around the service drive. A valid driver\'s license and clean record are required.

• Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles, including hybrids; automatic and manual transmission.
• Strong customer service and communication with service clients.

Responsibilities

• Move and park service vehicles and direct customers to the appropriate advisor.
• Obtain basic information from vehicles to assist with check in.
• Retrieve parts and supplies and perform janitorial tasks to keep the service drive clean.
• Wash exterior and vacuum interiors of vehicles.
• Work is performed mostly standing or walking, both inside and outside.

We are looking for self-motivated, reliable candidates ready to begin a career in the Automotive industry. This is an entry level position providing training and room for growth. This is an hourly position, working a full-time schedule.

Our Porters are working in a fast-paced environment, making sure vehicles are arriving and departing to the appropriate store locations. Porters are trusted to drive Kendall vehicles safely and represent the Kendall brand. Job duties include moving and parking service vehicles as needed, communicating and providing superior customer service to service clients, directing service customers to the appropriate advisor, obtaining basic information from vehicles to assist with check in process, retrieving parts and supplies, operating snow removal equipment, washing exterior of vehicles, vacuuming interiors of vehicles and janitorial tasks to keep service drive clean and presentable.

Work is performed equally inside and outside, majority of job duties will be completed via standing or walking, though bending and twisting will occur to enter and exit vehicles frequently. Lifting 20 pounds occasionally, and rarely up to 50 pounds will be required.

Requirements

Candidates must have the capacity to operate a wide variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans, including hybrid models, must have ability to drive automatic and manual transmission. A good, clean driving record and valid driver license is required.
