Job summary

ETS Staffing is seeking a Hearth Service Technician for a well-established retailer and service provider of home heating products. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing gas, pellet, and wood stoves and fireplaces, with routine maintenance and safety inspections for residential and commercial customers.

The position also involves educating customers on proper operation, documenting work and parts usage, and coordinating with the shop for replacements.

Qualifications

• Experience in appliance repair, HVAC, plumbing or electrical trades preferred.
• Willingness to pursue industry certifications with company support.
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 lbs and work in confined spaces or at heights.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

Our client is a well-established retailer and service provider of home heating products, offering a wide range of solutions for residential and commercial customers. They are seeking a Hearth Service Technician to join their team.

Your day-to-day as a Hearth Service Technician:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues on gas, pellet, and wood stoves and fireplaces.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleanings, and chimney safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Educate customers on proper operation and maintenance of heating systems, explaining service findings and recommendations.
• Document completed work, track parts usage, and coordinate with the shop for replacement components.

Your skills and experience:
