Job summary

Hearth Service Technician position with ETS Staffing's client in Vermont. You will diagnose and repair gas, pellet, and wood stoves and fireplaces, perform maintenance, and educate customers on operation and safety.

Ideal candidates have hands-on repair experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related trades, are willing to pursue certifications, can lift up to 75 lbs, and hold a valid driver's license. In-person work with weekly pay and on-demand wage option offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in appliance repair, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or similar technical trades preferred.
• Willingness to pursue industry certifications with company support.
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces or at heights.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues on gas, pellet, and wood stoves and fireplaces.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleanings, and chimney safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Educate customers on proper operation and maintenance of heating systems, explaining service findings and recommendations.
• Document completed work, track parts usage, and coordinate with the shop for replacement components.

Our client is a well-established retailer and service provider of home heating products, offering a wide range of solutions for residential and commercial customers. They are seeking a Hearth Service Technician to join their team.

Your day-to-day as a Hearth Service Technician:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues on gas, pellet, and wood stoves and fireplaces.
