Don McGill Toyota in Houston is seeking a Service Tech to diagnose and repair client and dealership vehicles, while maintaining positive relationships with customers who return for further service. This on-site role offers pay based on experience, with a range of $18 to $25 per hour.

Responsibilities include examining vehicles, communicating with shop foreman, and staying current with factory bulletins. Training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Operator Driver's License & State Inspection License.

Responsabilités

• Examine and diagnose vehicles
• Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor
• Communicate additional service requests to service advisor
• Plan work procedures in cooperation with shop foreman
• Monitor repair time and update service advisor regularly
• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
• Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs
• Assist in mentoring technician trainees
• Attend company and factory training
• Keep current with factory technical bulletins
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)
