Job summary
Don McGill Toyota in Houston, TX is seeking skilled automotive technicians to diagnose and repair vehicles while maintaining strong client relationships. The role emphasizes integrity, quality work, and ongoing training in a fast-paced shop environment.
Based on experience, pay ranges from $18 to $25 per hour. Full-time position with benefits including medical, vision, dental, and retirement options. Must hold a Driver's License and State Inspection License.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
- Ability to diagnose and discuss repairs with the shop team.
- Strong customer service mindset and ethics.
Responsibilities
- Examine and diagnose vehicles.
- Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor.
- Communicate additional service requests to service advisor.
- Plan work procedures in cooperation with shop foreman.
- Monitor repair time and update service advisor regularly.
- Maintain adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care.
- Complete documentation for client repairs.
- Assist in mentoring technician trainees.
- Attend company and factory training.
- Keep current with factory technical bulletins.
- Follow regulations including hazardous waste disposal.
