Job summary

Ambient Enterprises is seeking an HVAC Service Technician in Hudson, Ohio. You will support start-up and ongoing service of HVAC equipment across commercial applications, troubleshoot and repair systems, and ensure reliable operation in challenging environments.

The role requires independence, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to mentor junior technicians. Five plus years of field experience, EPA Universal, startup experience, a clean driving record, OSHA

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience with commercial heating and air conditioning.
• Knowledge of commercial A/C, heating, water source heat pumps & rooftop systems.
• Startup experience and ability to mentor others.
• EPA Universal certification required; clean driving record.
• OSHA 10/30 preferred; manufacturing certifications viewed favorably.

Responsibilities

• Start-up and service of HVAC equipment for various applications.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems; ensure dependable operation.
• Mentor junior technicians and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate with dispatch and customers; uphold safety standards.

The Role

HVAC Service Technician (Hudson, Ohio)

Our HVAC Service Technicians specialize in the start-up and service of equipment for a variety of applications of air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, humidity control and energy management. We are searching for both experienced and entry-level HVAC technicians to help support the growing service business. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot and repair HVACsystems, be dependable, independent, and have communication and organizational skills. This role would serve our Hudson, Ohio area.

Requirements

• 5+ years of field experience with commercial heating and air conditioning.
• Must have knowledge of commercial air-conditioning, heating, water source heat pumps & rooftop packaged HVAC systems.
• Startup experience.
• Mentored others in the field.
• EPA Universal.
• Must have your own hand tools.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• OSHA 10-hour training certification and OSHA 30 (preferred).
• Master HVAC-Ris a plus.
• Manufacturing certifications(i.e. Aaon, Smart Chiller, Samsung, ClimaCool, ClimateMaster..., etc. - preferred)
• Self-starter, great communication skills, timely

Estimated Salary: $35/hourly - $55/hourly
