Job summary

Kenworth Sales Co. in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Service Technician to join our team. Swing shift 1:30pm - 10:00pm.

The technician will perform quality repairs on customer equipment, advise on additional services as needed, and maintain accurate work records for each job. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in medium and/or heavy truck repair and maintenance.
• Outstanding mechanical aptitude and skills necessary to produce top results.
• Driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English instructions and information.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Receives repair order assignments from Shop Foreman.
• Follows instructions and executes work assignments in repair order thoroughly and efficiently.
• Maintains superior standard of workmanship in all services performed.
• Advises Shop Foreman of any recommended changes in services ordered by the customer.
• Determines if any further repairs or servicing should be recommended to the customer, and communicates such recommendations to the Shop Foreman.
• Maintains a level of training and experience with specialized equipment, machinery, and servicing techniques necessary for superior servicing of the customer’s equipment.
• Attends training sessions as required by the Service Manager.
• Performs additional repairs as required when any piece of equipment is returned by the customer because of the Technician’s faulty workmanship.
• Maintains accurate work order records of work performed and time clocked on jobs.

Kenworth Sales Co. is looking for a Service Technician to join our Las Vegas, NV team. Swing shift scheduled hours are 1:30pm - 10:00pm

Salary Minimum and Maximum: $25-$45 an hour depending on experience

JOB SUMMARY:

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This is a physically demanding position. Will stand six to eight hours per shift. Will stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle and feel. Will lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Will use hand and power tools, hoist and test equipment. Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, paint, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
