Job summary

Mid-State Equipment is seeking a Part Time Mechanic/Technician to join our service team. The role reports to the Service Manager and Assistant Service Manager and involves disassembly, assembly, testing, and repair of components and equipment with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities include performing service tasks, maintaining tools and workspace, completing reports, and participating in training to advance diagnostic skills and knowledge of machine systems.

Qualifications

• Continually develops skills in disassembly, assembly, and repair of components and equipment.
• Performs basic testing on all machine systems.
• Works toward improving diagnostic skills on all machine systems.
• Performs all service tasks assigned by Service Manager.
• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly manner.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations.
• Reports to Service Manager any additional work required on machines.
• Participates in all service training required for the development of skills and knowledge.
• Prepares all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
• Maintains and cares for shop tools, equipment and vehicles.
• Conducts self in the presence of customers and other employees in a manner benefiting the image of the dealership.
• Performs all other duties as directed by the service manager.
