Job summary

Cortland in Tampa is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine upkeep, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting and general apartment care. You will prepare vacant units, maintain curbsides, and respond to resident requests with a focus on service quality.

The role requires 1–2+ years in maintenance, a HS diploma, and ability to lift and operate tools. Work is performed on-site with a team in a high-performance multifamily environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or related work preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of household repairs and use of hand tools (or willingness to learn).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or within a team.
• Strong customer‑service skills and a professional attitude.
• Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, and work in various indoor/outdoor conditions.
