Service Technician (South Area)
Multiple positions located at or near our southeast US Customer Center Locations – Norcross, GA; Knoxville, TN; Nashville, TN; Moody, AL; Greer, SC; New Orleans, LA. This role is typically not eligible for relocation.
Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Starting pay will range between $25.00 – $35.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full‑time hourly position. $3,000 sign‑on bonus!

The Field Service Technician for our Compression Systems and Services Division serves customers by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all makes of rotary screw, reciprocating, Centac, and ECC air compressors, and additional compressed‑air system components. You will use precision measuring tools for diagnostic troubleshooting and will need knowledge of all operations and parts manuals associated with all equipment.
In addition to performing preventative maintenance on Ingersoll Rand compressed‑air equipment, service technicians interact with customers to address existing and unanticipated equipment concerns, collaborate with Service Coordinators on ordering and gathering parts and supplies necessary to complete installations and repairs, and assist and train apprentices and fellow Field Service Technicians.
