Job summary

Dream Live Prosper Communities is seeking a Service Technician to service DLP-owned and managed assets across the Lehigh Valley, PA region. You will respond to maintenance requests, perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general repairs, and manage work orders while keeping properties presentable for residents and guests.

The role requires field work at multiple sites, strong customer service, and the ability to participate in an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

  • Strong handyman skills with experience in basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general repairs.
  • Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and complete repairs with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Travel between scattered-site properties to complete maintenance work orders and on commercial, single family and vacation properties.
  • Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, appliance, and general maintenance repairs.
  • Maintain property grounds, common areas, and amenities of scattered sites.
  • Update and manage assigned work orders in property management software.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed and as part of the on-call rotation.

As a crucial member of our team, the Service Technician ensures that all DLP-owned and managed assets deliver an exceptional experience to our residents, tenants, and guests. Responsibilities include maintaining curb appeal, handling cleaning and maintenance needs, and responding to after-hours emergencies. This position requires flexibility, a strong understanding of property needs, and active participation in on-call duties.

In this role, you will resolve assigned service requests within 48 hours with no callbacks, manage work orders efficiently, and execute make-ready tasks for vacated rental homes. This field-based position requires frequent outdoor work in all weather conditions. Exceptional customer service is essential to driving community success, enhancing marketability, and earning positive guest reviews across our scattered sites.

Scattered sites encompass all DLP-owned and/or managed assets in the Lehigh Valley, PA area.

About This Opportunity

  • Compensation: Starting at $20.00-$25.00 Hourly, depending on experience and certification.
  • Position type: Full-time
  • This job requires a flexible schedule with varied work hours that may include weekends.
What We Are Looking For In a Service Technician
  • Strong handyman skills with experience in basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general repairs.
  • Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and complete repairs with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
  • Organized, dependable, and able to manage time effectively while working in the field.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Comfortable using mobile technology and work order systems.
  • CPO Certification is a plus.
  • Must provide basic hand tools.
  • Able to participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Self-starter who can work independently across multiple properties.
  • Reliable vehicle capable of transporting tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
