Job summary

You will diagnose, repair, and test hydraulic and electrical systems using specialized tools and schematics. Applicants should be prepared for overtime/weekends and possess a CDL Class B within 60 days.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs machine repair and maintenance services both in the shop and at customer sites.
• Operates and maintains electric and/or air powered hand tools.
• Participates in testing and commissioning products.
• Performs pre-startup checks to ensure machines are ready for use.
• Meets and/or exceeds the Company's work quality standards using visual and mechanical inspection methods.
• Operates heavy equipment safely and effectively.
• Works safely by following established safety procedures and through awareness helps to ensure the safety of others near and around the work area.
• Changes and disposes of hazardous waste following health and safety protocols.
• Troubleshoots equipment and systems using hydraulic and/or electrical schematics.
• Completes repair tickets accurately and thoroughly, indicating work completed and any needed follow-up.
• Communicates services and repairs performed to the customer in a professional manner.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Vocational Training or 2+ years of experience performing heavy machinery mechanical services (Volvo, Roadtec, Bornag Etnyre, brands preferred)
• 2+ years of hydraulic, electrical and heavy construction equipment experienceProficiency using heavy machinery diagnostics equipment
• Must have own set of tools
• Must pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening
• Possessing or obtaining Class B CDL license within first 60 days of employment
