Job summary

Cavender Auto Family is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our growing team in Texas. You will diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other components using advanced diagnostic tools to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Technician required.
• Strong automotive mechanical and diagnostic background.
• Manufacturer ASE Certifications preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to successfully complete background check, MVR, and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Performing repairs and maintenance according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnosing vehicle concerns using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repairing engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, air conditioning systems, and more.
• Communicating repair recommendations and timelines with Service Advisors.
• Completing warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintaining accurate repair documentation and records.
• Keeping work areas clean, organized, and safety compliant.
• Supporting additional duties assigned by management.
