Cavender Auto Country-Chevy; Buick; GMC is seeking a Certified Service Technician to join our growing team. You will perform repairs and maintenance to high standards, diagnose vehicle concerns using advanced tools, and ensure a top-tier dealership experience for every customer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Technician
• Proficient in automotive diagnostics and repair
• Strong communication with customers and team
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Willingness to pursue ASE certifications

Responsabilités

• Perform repairs and maintenance per dealership and manufacturer standards
• Diagnose vehicle concerns using diagnostic tools
• Repair engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, electrical and A/C systems
• Communicate repair recommendations and timelines with Service Advisors
• Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and records
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safety compliant
• Support additional duties assigned by management

What You'll Do

As a Certified Service Technician, you’ll help deliver exceptional repair and maintenance services while ensuring customers receive a high-quality dealership experience.

Responsibilities Include

• Performing repairs and maintenance according to dealership and manufacturer standards


• Diagnosing vehicle concerns using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment


• Repairing engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, air conditioning systems, and more


• Communicating repair recommendations and timelines with Service Advisors


• Completing warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications


• Maintaining accurate repair documentation and records


• Keeping work areas clean, organized, and safety compliant


• Supporting additional duties assigned by management

What We're Looking For

• Experienced in automotive diagnostics and repair

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Service Technician required


• Strong automotive mechanical and diagnostic background


• Manufacturer ASE Certifications preferred


• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record


• Ability to successfully complete background check, MVR, and pre-employment drug screening
