Job summary

Burlington Kia in Greensboro, NC is seeking a skilled auto technician to diagnose, repair and service vehicles to manufacturer standards.

You will work with a supportive team, use diagnostic tools, and communicate with customers and service advisors to provide clear estimates and timely service. Benefits include health plans, 401(k), paid time off, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• At least 2 years experience as an auto technician.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning.
• Communicates with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional needed services and provide time estimates.
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• Must have at least2 years of experience as an auto technician
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
