Job summary

Mark-Taylor is hiring a Service Technician at the Brix Warehouse District in Phoenix, AZ. You will perform maintenance repairs, upkeep the community, and deliver five-star service to residents.

The role requires knowledge across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and pool care, with on-call rotation and potential extra pay for EPA/CPO/OSHA certifications. Join a company recognized for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• General knowledge in plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, landscape maintenance, appliances, and OSHA-related standards.
• Knowledge of building systems.
• Service orientation.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience as apartment turn technician, make ready technician, or work order technician is highly desirable.
• A basic understanding of written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the completion of make ready units to Mark-Taylor standards and maintain adequate supply of make-ready units for the community.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and correct minor air conditioning and/or heating failures, appliance repairs, electrical problems, plumbing problems, minor carpentry, and drywall repairs.
• Perform necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available.
• Perform daily pool care, ensure pool is in proper chemical balance and area is free of safety concerns.
• Complete minor roof repairs, re-key locks, and cut keys.
• Inspect the property for safety hazards and inform the Manager of Facilities and Service of the hazard.
• Share on-call duty with Manager of Facilities and Service, and service team members and be available in uniform/badge.
• Assist in monitoring inventory of parts and cleaning supplies.
