Job summary

A leading mechanical engineering firm is seeking experienced Service Technicians to work internationally. Responsibilities include performing repairs and maintenance on complex systems, conducting inspections, and providing customer support. Service Technician (m/f/d)

Location: GERMANY/Kreuztal|Sector: Service

We are looking for experienced service technicians (m/f/d) for our Service division to work on international assignments.

Your tasks

Whether it’s troubleshooting, inspections, or retrofits—whether on‑site at our customers’ locations or remotely from our headquarters using our digital communication and service tools—they ensure that our GEORG systems are serviced on time and to the highest standards for our customers worldwide.

• Independently performing repairs, inspections, and maintenance on our range of machines and systems both domestically and internationally
• Conducting internal pre‑acceptance inspections and providing support and assistance during acceptance inspections at the customer’s facility
• Preparing the acceptance report and documenting the actual technical data
• Independently conducting tests for fault analysis
• Adapting control software to on‑site requirements, in coordination with software development as needed
• Providing customer support on‑site, by phone, or via online services (GEORGconnectedservice)

Your profile

You are the versatile specialist who, with a high degree of independence and precision, keeps our complex machines and systems running smoothly.

• Completed vocational training in a metalworking trade, e.g., industrial mechanics, mechatronics, or electronics, with further training to become a state‑certified electrical engineer
• Strong knowledge of Siemens S7 PLCs, TIA, and Siemens drive technology
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics; knowledge of application engineering is also desirable
• High level of commitment, flexibility, and mobility (willingness to travel domestically and internationally)
• Good English skills; knowledge of other foreign languages is desirable
