Job summary

Corvant is seeking a Service Technician IV in Orlando, FL to perform installation, service and maintenance on a range of commercial HVAC systems. Travel may be required to support facilities.

The role demands extensive hands-on experience, including inspection, repair and commissioning, with a focus on safety and quality. EPA certification, OSHA 10 and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Mastery of HVAC components and terminology.
• Experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• Experience w/ HVAC systems start-up/commissioning.
• Working knowledge of leak detection, evacuation, recovery, charging, heat pumps and air quality systems.
• Working knowledge of service tools and testing devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting tasks safely in a commercial and industrial setting.
• Service, diagnose and troubleshoot various commercial systems including packaged rooftops, split systems, boilers, chillers, etc.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair commercial HVAC equipment.
• Provide technical support in the field to other technicians.
• Obtain an NCCER Performance Evaluator credential and support learning in the field.

The Service Technician IV is responsible for completing installation, service, and maintenance on various commercial HVAC systems. Must have experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment. This position requires travel as needed.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma Required. Technical school preferred.
• OSHA 10 Preferred
• EPA Certified
• Valid Drivers’ License
• Minimum 10 plus years of HVAC experience required.

• Use hand (s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.
• Reach with hand (s) and arm (s).
