Job summary

Corvant is hiring a Service Technician III to install, service, and maintain commercial HVAC systems across mission-critical environments. You will work on inspection, repair, and preventative maintenance with a focus on high-quality customer service.

The role requires 10+ years of HVAC experience, OSHA 10 and EPA certifications, and a valid driver's license, with strong knowledge of air duct systems and relevant building codes.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience with installation, service, and maintenance.
• Experience in HVAC inspection, repair, and maintenance.
• Experience start-up/commissioning.
• Knowledge of leak detection, evacuation, recovery, charging, and air quality systems.
• Familiarity with service tools and testing devices.
• Ability to follow and communicate instructions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance for commercial equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults in HVAC systems.
• Clean, adjust, and repair systems.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Provide high level customer service.
• Participate in NCCER Curriculum.
• Demonstrate proficiency with air duct distribution systems.
• Know building codes and regulations for installation and maintenance.

Job Description

The Service Technician III is responsible for completing installation, service, and maintenance on various commercial HVAC systems. Must have experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities (List is not inclusive)

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenances for a variety of commercial equipment.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Approaching every opportunity with a learning mindset.
• Provide high level customer service.
• Actively participate in NCCER Curriculum.
• Must demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of air duct distribution systems, commercial and industrial.
• Know relevant building codes, current legislation, regulations, policies and procedures for the installation and maintenance of systems.

Required Knowledge, skills, and abilities

• Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and written.
• Mastery of HVAC components and terminology.
• Experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment
• Experience w/ HVAC systems start-up/commissioning
• Working knowledge of HVAC concepts related to leak detection, evacuation, recovery, charging, heath pumps and air quality systems,
• Working knowledge of service tools and testing devices
• Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and written.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma Required. Technical school preferred.
• OSHA 10 Preferred
• EPA Certified
• Valid Drivers' License
• Minimum 10 plus years of HVAC experience required.
