You’ll work alongside experienced mechanics, perform entry-level maintenance tasks, and gain hands-on skills that can lead to full-time service technician roles after degree or certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED while pursuing technical degree or certification.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with foundational knowledge of tools and equipment.
• Self-motivated with a strong drive and sense of urgency.
• Superior customer service and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn the various equipment United Rentals rents and their applications.
• Provide labor and assist mechanics to support branch operations.
• Support field and shop tasks to gain hands-on maintenance experience.
• Deliver excellent customer service to customers on-site.
